The Guild for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, also known as the K-guild, is home to the soon-to-be chemical and biotechnical engineers at Lund University’s Technological Institution (Lunds Tekniska Högskola). The guild has some 600 members and is exclusively run by students.
The main purpose of the guild is to promote wellbeing among the student body. We achieve this by continuously monitoring our education to ensure that it evolves and maintains its high standards. Another big aspect of the guild is to create a sense of unity among the students to make their studies easier to get through. The guild also considers creating contacts with the trade and industry a vital part of its activities.

The guild’s representatives toward the industry are part of the committee called the committee of corporate relations. They are in charge of contact with any interested enterprises. Click HERE for more information about the committee of corporate relations. Their email is
